DUO
OIL ON PANEL, 60 x 80 cm, 2020
This painting explores the ambiguity of spatial perception – what reads as foreground dissolves into background, refusing hierarchies of depth. The right side reveals a portrait whose interior is traced with red and green lines intertwining like veins or arteries, a circulatory system made visible. The work operates on two simultaneous planes: as abstract landscape and as anatomical map, suggesting that all external space contains hidden internal structures. The viewer’s eye moves between recognition and abstraction, never settling in either state.
