OIL ON PANEL WITH CARDBOARD, WOOD, AND PLASTIC, 80 x 80 cm, 2020
One of my first experiments with assemblage, this work introduces physical dimensions to explore how layers create spatial ambiguity. A colorful wave flows through a geometric pastel landscape, testing the boundaries between structure and fluidity. The assemblage technique, adding three-dimensional elements to the flat surface creates a playful tension between architectural stability and organic movement. The wave refuses to respect the geometric order it passes through, suggesting that flow always finds its way around constraint.
